This website provides information about the Local Government Training Institute (LGTI), its training and general local government topics. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with other people’s access or the operation of the site.
Training information
Articles and course descriptions are general information. They are not legal, safety, engineering, financial or other professional advice, and they do not replace legislation, standards, a council’s own policies or advice for a specific situation. Apply your organisation’s procedures and seek suitably qualified advice where a decision requires it.
The website describes LGTI courses as non-accredited. A web page does not confirm a course booking, price, date, scope, prerequisite or accreditation status. Those details should be agreed directly with LGTI in a written quote or booking confirmation before training is arranged.
Site content and images
LGTI or its licensors retain rights in the site’s original text, branding and design. You may view and print pages for personal or internal reference. Do not republish substantial site content, branding or materials for commercial use without permission.
Some article photographs are supplied under third-party licences. Their creator, source and licence are credited with the image. Reuse those photographs only in accordance with the linked licence and any attribution requirements; the general site terms do not replace that licence.
