First Aid Training
First Aid Training including CPR
Successful completion of this training will result in the attainment of the nationally accredited units of competency:
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
This course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty, including performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC).
Participants will complete theory and practical activities, including performing CPR on dummies placed on the floor.
The course applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Training is delivered by local, experienced paramedics who can share real life scenarios with the participants.
