Confined Spaces and Working Safely at Heights
This one day course provides the skills and knowledge required to enter and work in confined space in the resources and infrastructure industries. Participants will learn the necessary skills to recognise a confined space, conduct a risk assessment, complete an entry permit, conduct atmospheric testing and perform a confined space entry operation under controlled conditions.
Successful completion of this training will result in the attainment of the nationally accredited unit of competency: RIIWHS202E – Enter and work in confined spaces
For first time participants, the one day course will need to be completed.
Half day refresher training is recommended to maintain competency.

Public courses are held regularly at our Thornton training centre, centrally located near Newcastle, Maitland, Central Coast and the Hunter.
Students must arrive at 8:00am sharp to complete the pre-course administration. Training will commence at 8:30am. Please read your course confirmation for further information about what you should bring with you on the day.
