Once upon a time, not so long ago, people were expected to leave their personal lives at the door when they entered their place of work. Great idea in theory, although it rarely works in real life.
Managing our own emotions can sometimes be a challenge, particularly in stressful times. Managing a team full of individuals who are also dealing with their own set of challenges and emotions takes skill and patience.
We are now facing hybrid work life as a ‘business as usual’ concept, and the crossover between professional and private life has the potential to become even more blurred.
We have developed an introductory program to assist you to develop the skills and knowledge required to identify signs and sources of strain on personal health and wellbeing (both physical and mental) within job roles and according to key performance indicators (KPIs).
You’ll also get an overview of the skills and knowledge required to develop and use emotional intelligence to increase self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management in the workplace.
You can attend the course and gain valuable insights from the learnings on the day, or you can elect to complete assessment tasks and gain two accredited units from BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business. (BSBPEF401 Manage personal health and wellbeing and BSBPEF5020 – Develop and use emotional intelligence)
