This is a course for rangers in councils. Students must be working in a ranger/compliance role within local government, such as authorised officers, council rangers, environmental officers. Undertaking this course will enhance their knowledge in the areas of monitoring and inspection activities, encouraging compliance in the community, application of powers, collating and preparing evidence for court and attending court proceedings.
Free workshops are run at our Thornton training centre, for students enrolled in the correspondence course. These workshops are not compulsory.
